Last night we were heading out to go on a double date with Nate & Camille when all of a sudden our car started making this ridiculously loud thumping noise.
We hadn't made it very far from our house so we pulled over, got out, and discovered we had a flat tire.
.perfect.
So we went home, parked the Grand Am and took my car.
dun dun dunn..
This morning we went out to change the tire and it ended up being a small series of unfortunate events.
First, it took us forever to figure out the jack.
Then we realized one of the plastic lug nut covers was broken, so we couldn't remove the hub cap.
So we then had to retrieve a hammer and screw driver to pound the cap into submission. (Really we just used the hammer and screw driver to loosen the cap.)
Finally we got the hub cap off and it took forever to get the lug nuts off.
All the while it was raining and we were sitting in dirt.

I even got my hands a little dirty! ha haWe have now had 2 flat tires in the last 6 months.
We took the tire in to have it fixed and apparently its unrepairable.

I hope this is the last flat tire we have for a long time!
Oh no! What a bummer. I hope the date was fun though!
