Blessings

I am so thankful for all of the blessings I have.

▫ I have a wonderful husband.

▫ A beautiful house.

▫ An opportunity to gain an education.

▫ The Gospel.

▫ The opportunity to teach Primary. (I love those kids, even though they drive me a little batty!)

▫ I always have food in my belly and plenty of clothes to wear.

▫ I have the most amazing friends and family.

▫ I could go on and on..

Sometimes, I tend to focus on all the things I don't have instead of all the wonderful things I do have. In the last couple weeks or so I have realized how truly blessed I really am! Being newlyweds can be stressful sometimes but its all how you look at things. You can't control what happens to you in your life but you can control your attitude. Todd is so patient with me and we're both learning so much. I love him with all my heart!

I love my life exactly how it is. I wouldn't change a thing!

I am so thankful for the Gospel and for all the many blessings we have been given. :)

Painting the bookcase.

Well, we decided to take up a project! You see, a month or so ago we found a fabulous deal on a new comforter for our bed. So we kinda decided to change a few things in our room.

Here is our new comforter! Ignore all my cords that are everywhere.. ha ha
Oh, and that thing the teddy bear is holding is Todd's old school Gameboy.

So the painting began.. well, I guess first it was the sanding.

The sanding really didn't take long and we moved right along to the painting!

This is what the first coat looked like.. scary huh? Don't worry, it gets better.

We just have to get all those cords hidden.

It was so fun doing this project together.
