Grandma Morton's Visit.

This weekend my wonderful Grandma Morton came to stay with us. It was so fun having her here! We had a blast! She came down on friday and that evening we went dinner at Applebees and then to Tuacahn to see Tarzan. It was my first time ever going to Tuacahn and I absolutely loved it! Tarzan was such a good play and we had the best seats!! We were on the second row! It was so great!

After the show, we had the opportunity to take pictures with some of the monkeys!

This is Todd and Turk! He was so stinkin' funny!

The next day, We decided to go to the Jacob Hamblin Home in Santa Clara.
It is such a beautiful place and I love learning about pioneers and seeing how they lived.
So here are some pictures:

Its "Swiss Days" in Santa Clara right now, so businesses put out these wooden cows!
They're so cute!
This year, The Church bought 3 cows for the Hamblin Home.
From left to right: Jacob Hamblin, Albert the adopted Indian son, and Percilla his wife.

Todd checking out the crops!

I got to take cotton home! Exciting right?! Grandma got some too!
I've never seen how cotton grows. It was really interesting.

Next, we went to the Dinosaur Discovery Museum.
This place was so cool! Dinosaur tracks were accidentally found here by a farmer and now it is an active dig site.
They turned part of the site into a museum where you can see many of the things found at that particular site and replicas of dinosaur tracks found in other southern Utah sites.

We're standing by a big dinosaur footprint.

This is a huge slab of rock that has a series of footprints in a straight line.

This is a print of a dinosaur sitting down! I'm not going to try to explain it to all of you, but trust me, that's what it is.

We had a great time with Grandma! We're so happy she could come down and stay with us!
We love you Grandma!
:)

  2. That is nothing compared to the crazy pajama outfit he was wearing out in public one day :) He may dress a little crazy, but we still love him!
